Spring?

Where oh where is spring?  The grass in my yard is green and my surprise lillies are coming up.  However, today the sky is so grey and it is raining.   The poor horses are, in some places, up to their knees in mud.  My spirit feels the same way they must feel, bogged down and disheartened.  I know my Savior walks beside me but right now I don't seem to have the engery to keep up with Him.  I am still struggling to do so, and I guess that is all He asks of me at times.
May God bless you in your times of struggling through the mud.

Starting Out

My first post on my blog!  I hope to share with you my thoughts, feelings, and daily or not so daily, happenings here at Prairie Star Farm.

Today, I have been thinking about family and how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband.  He is awesome!  I also have the greatest mom, sisters, and brother a person can have.  They are all only a phone call away.  How blessed I am.

Snow, I have decided, can be a four letter word.  School was cancelled today so I did not have to go to work.  However, I wanted to go to work but could not get out of the driveway.  I spent the day knitting, spinning, and washing wool.  Also gave my husband a break from feeding our 2 horses.  But, kind as he is he followed me outside this morning offering his help anyway.

I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures, or mis-adventures, as I try to find my way while walking on Heavenly Father's world.  I am looking forward to chatting with you!
